About the Founder
Shane Coppin is a structural advisor and transformation architect with over three decades of leadership across sport, infrastructure, education, and complex institutional systems.
He has guided national sporting organisations through growth, reform, and high-performance transitions — working alongside national teams, leagues, and a wide range of sporting codes to reshape governance, operations, and culture across federated systems. His leadership has driven some of Australia’s most significant structural reforms, including the national unification of AusCycling and the strategic redesign of PMSA’s multi-school network.
Before founding Orkawild, Shane spent a decade in the construction sector, working across design, development, engineering, and supply — experience that gives his work a pragmatic, systems-focused edge. In education, he has led multi-school networks through governance reform and cross-sector leadership challenges.
This breadth of experience — from boardrooms to building sites — gives Shane a unique ability to align vision with structure, and structure with lasting results.
Today, he works exclusively at board and executive level, helping leaders shape structure, manage complexity, and build capability that endures.
He founded Orkawild for one reason: to give bold thinkers a trusted partner who knows how to turn ambition into clarity, and clarity into legacy.
