His leadership brought modernisation, financial stability, and explosive growth to national sporting bodies once struggling for relevance.

In education, Shane was recruited to lead major reform across one of Queensland’s most prestigious independent school networks, PMSA. He implemented robust governance, operational clarity, and sustainable growth strategies, positioning the organisation for long-term, values-led success.

In construction, Shane’s roots are grounded in the hands-on grit of a family-run business built from scratch. As co-founder of national leisure and steel manufacture and construction company, he helped transform a local operation into a national commercial enterprise delivering bespoke shade structures, playground solutions and structural steel products across the country. From structural design to logistics and installation, Shane led the charge on production, process innovation, and scalable systems—bringing engineering precision together with business acumen. It was here that he learned, deeply and directly, the importance of resilience, relationships, and rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
